…Hope contacted me wanting a special birthday shirt for her little sweetie who will be turning 2 this coming weekend.  The party theme is hawaiian themed and I was thrilled to work on this shirt for Lauren.  I love the flip flops the best!  I hope you love it Hope!  Thanks so much for your support!

Happy Birthday to Lauren!

Another sweet Mom shirt is heading to Allison.  5 children total.  God Bless her!  Thanks so much for your order Allison and I hope the colors are exactly what you thought of.  I love the way it turned out!!!  They really pop on the chocolate brown shirt!!!

Thanks again!

I love these Mom shirts…not because I make them or the money that they bring in…but, honestly…because, I know that a MOM is purchasing something for HERSELF.  I totally grasp the concept of motherhood now that Maggie is (almost) three and growing like a weed.  I could seriously never buy another piece of clothing for myself if I thought that Maggie or Josh needed something before me.  So when a mom orders a shirt, it makes me smile.

Melissa is a mom to 4 beautiful children.  I have made two custom initial shirts for her girls.  They were too cute!

Thanks for your order Melissa.  Hope you love the shirt for years to come!

Mr. Tate is adding 2 more sweet Maggie Moo Original’s to his closet…this puts his tally up to 5 M3 shirts!!!  WHOOT WHOOT!  I am so excited!  Seriously, he is such a happy kiddo!  Thanks Robin and Cliff for your continued support of my craft!  I love working with you both!

Okay, so let me explain…

One of my sister’s friends, Chasity, contacted me about a custom shirt for her daughter, Katie.  Katie recently had a Snow White birthday party and she wanted a custom shirt for her to wear throughout the summer, since she was wearing her Snow White costume for the party.

To be totally honest, I wasn’t too sure about doing a Snow White shirt.  Disney characters, well any characters for that matter, are so detailed…so, so detailed.  The way I work felt and fabric is not the best for those super small, yet super important details.

At any rate, I went for it.  Snow White came to life seriously before my very eyes.  It took me FOREVER!  Seriously, forever…like I worked on her several days a week cutting and making sure it looked right and that Ms. Katie would adore her.  Each piece is hand cut, hand pieced, and most hand sewn.

I will admit it was hard to drop this shirt off at Chasity’s house.  I wanted to just hold and pet it all day.  But at the end of the day, Katie LOVED it, put it on immediately, and it made her smile!  That is what mattered most!
But sadly, I won’t attempt another character in my days…that I know of…of course, then my Maggie wondered where her NO WHITE shirt went…I guess since she looked at it for so long, she thought it was for her.

Thanks Chasity for your order and for Katie’s excitement.  I don’t ever want to seem ungrateful for any order, just consider your shirt 1 of 1.  🙂

Sweet Sarah…She is such a sweet woman.  She is an amazing Encores and More North mommy worker, a friend to many, and a mommy to 4 beautiful children.  She wanted to have her own sweet Mom shirt to sport her kiddo love.  She has been so patient with me and I believe it was worth the wait.

Thank you Sarah!  I adore you and appreciate your support for my craft!

Remember this post?  Well, I am so thrilled with the way these two shirts came out.  Shana was our winner and she is a Mommy to 3 beautiful children.  She wanted these adorable polkadots on her shirt.  I love how fun and springy it is.  She wrote the following about the lady that she wanted to give the free shirt to…

If I won the give away, I would give a shirt to my on-line buddy, Robin. She is an amazing mother to 21 bio/adopted kids! She spent countless hours chatting with me about foster care adoptions. Now, I have 3 little sweeties tucked in bed asleep.

Sweet, sweet words.  The shirt below is Robin’s finished creations.  It almost brought tears to my eyes when I cut out the 21 for her kids number.  Could you imagine the beautiful woman this lady must be.

I hope both of you ladies love your shirts and wear them with pride!
