…Introducing Poppy the Peace Sign…

This sweet onesie is going to Dana H. for a baby gift for a friend.  She contacted me and asked if I could do a peace sign that was gender neutral for a friend.  The expecting parents are not finding out the sex of their new little one, so I thought these fabrics were perfect…

Started with a super soft Gerber Onesie and appliqued some Chocolate Lollipop fabric on top.  The peace sign is a yummy, and oh-so-soft green chenille.  Some ivory felt is the backing for the peace sign.

Dana, thank you so much for your business!  I hope you love it!

This great shirt is for a new friend of mine, Parker.  His mom, Erica, is one of my best customers.

She requested a rocket for Parker, who already is the owner of Parker the VW Bug and Luke the Owl.  She loves my designs and keeps coming back for more.  I love how this rocket shirt turned out.  I started with awesome Amy Butler green dot fabric, lots of layers of felt, and some sweet line fabric for the tip and fins.

I have to say that the fire coming off the rocket is my favorite part.

Erica, thanks so much for your order!  I hope Parker loves Roscoe!!!

Those were the words that I heard today that meant so much to me.  I have been a PE teacher for going on 6 years now and loved every minute of it.  I have heard many wonderful comments from children throughout my career.  Some children will tell you anything you want to know…that can be a funny thing!

I started sewing because I needed to release some stress while my husband and love, Josh, was recovering from going into Cardiac Arrest when our sweet Maggie was only 6 days old.  I figured sewing beautiful things for Maggie would be a great hobby for me.  I love every single minute of it.  It has been a great blessing in my life.  To know that children are getting really sweet and most-of-the-time cool stuff made by ME is surreal.

Thank you for coming into this world of adventure with me.  And to you I say, thank you for loving me.

This sweet shirt is one of three shirts that are going to a great teacher friend of mine, Amy.  She is going to visit her two nieces and nephew this week.  She is traveling and wanted a little special something to take them.  I love how Tootsie came out.  I got this AWESOME dot fabric from Lassiegirl off Etsy and absolutely love it!

Amy, I hope you love this shirt!  Thanks for your business!

This is another sweet shirt that is going to Amy‘s other niece, Sophie.  Amy said that Sophie loves anything Princess and Girlie!  Got it!  I LOVE the way this shirt came out.  It has a TON of detail and took forever, but it was so worth it for the end product.  I used some adorable fabrics for this one, including Amy Butler, whom I love!  The castle is complete with windows and drawbridge door.  I love the design and think that Ms. Sophie will be adorable in it!

Thanks again Amy!  I hope you love this one!

This is shirt is also going to Amy, number three of three.  Amy’s nephew, Corbin, loves VW so Amy knew that she for sure wanted a VW bug for him.  I love this shirt on blue with Amy Butler’s orange dots.

I also used some cool buttons for wheels, those buttons are my favorite buttons ever!

Amy, thanks again for your orders and I hope that they all love their shirts!

Have a great trip!

A great teacher friend of mine, Mrs. Grissom, asked me if I could create something for her sweet daughter Naomi Kate.  She said her favorite was the Butterfly shirt!  I had a ton of fun creating this shirt!  I love how it turned out!  I think that Ms. Naomi Kate is going to look so sweet in it this summer!

Thanks Valerie for your order!  I hope you both love it!  Have a great summer!
